Annapurna Indian Womens Club (AIWC) will meet at 11:15 am on 5th October at the Indian Cultural Center, Hannamdong .



The festive mood of Diwali has set in and members are enthusiastically preparing for the much awaited Indian Diwali Ball scheduled to be held on 14th October 2011.



The Diwali Ball is the biggest charity event organised by the AIWC and all proceeds are donated to Indian and Korean charities.



With "Bollywood" as the theme, the 2011 Diwali Ball promises to be a fun filled evening. Peenaz Massani the very talented gazal singer and Padamshree recipient, will perform at the ball in her mellifluous voice. It's a great opportunity to enjoy authentic Indian food, Indian Performances, Indian Music and win exciting raffle prizes.

India's President In Seoul



The President of India H.E Mrs. Pratibha Patil visited Seoul from 24th July to 27th July as the state guest of Government of Korea.



Annapurna Club members had the honor of meeting The President and she was briefed of the activities of the club.

August - Waiting to Meet Everybody

After a very long spell of monsoons in Seoul and the summer break, one is looking

forward to meeting everybody. Welcome back - all the regular members of

Annapurna and we look forward to welcoming new members in our Club.

Our first meeting after the summer break will be in

the Embassy of India (Hannam dong) on 26th August at 10.30 a.m.

If you know of anybody new in Seoul from India or is of Indian origin, pl. inform them

accordingly.

Have less than two months to prepare before our Diwali Gala, which is scheduled

for 14th October, 2011 at Millennium Hilton.

Annapurna Picnic



Annapurna members visited the beautiful Nami Island for the annunal picnic which was organised by the club. Walking amongst the perfectly lined trees and on the lovely grass plots. The beauty is breathtaking and serene ,the weather was perfect.

All enjoyed fun filled yet a calming getaway !
