General body meeting November

The meeting held on 22nd Nov. was the last general body meeting of the year 2010! Our meeting in December will not take place since most of our members are due to travel out during the winter break.

**********Diwali Ball 2010***************

The Diwali Ball 2010 offered an array of cultural events...... fine dance performances done by our talented members a mesmerising performance of kathak by "Ghunghroo" a group from India and last but not the least a great instrumental performance on songs from Bollywood by the Korean millitary band.

Delectable Indian food preapared by chefs from India at the Millennium Seoul Hilton, the Ballroom decked with candles,rangoli's, flowers created the right ambience.

General body meeting-October

Our next General body meeting is scheduled for the 6th Oct. at 10:30 at the Indian Embassy.We are looking forward to meeting Mr. Yoav from Korea Herald who will be present at this meeting.

The upcoming Diwali ball will be held on the 30th Oct. 2010 at the Millennium Seoul Hilton.Enjoy a fun filled evening with authentic Indian food ,performances and great raffels to be won.This charity event is held every year and all the proceeds are dontaed to Indian and Korean charities.

The sales of tickets have commenced.You could buy your tickets at the Indian Embassy.We will be there every Monday and Thursday from 10 am to 12 pm or else pls. contact Mrs Indira Mohan ,who can be located at the Embassy (B1 level) ,during their office hours.

General Body Meeting-September

We'll be meeting at the Indian Embassy on the 7th September at 10:30,for the General body meeting.The festivities have begun...........usually at this time of the year all the attention and the focus is shifted to the upcoming Diwali Ball which will be held on 30th Oct. 2010.

Be a part of the celebrations and experience the Indian culture and taste authentic Indian food at the the much awaited ball.
This is a charity event and all the funds raised by the the AIWC is donated to Indian and Korean charities.

Rest for June and July. Those going out of Seoul, Happy journey
wherever you are going. Come back rejuvenated, for we have preparations
to do in August and September for our big event - the Diwali Gala
on October 30, 2010 at Millennium Hilton.

General body meeting May 2010.

Our next monthly meeting is scheduled on 6th May, 2010. We will have the pleasure
of meeting the Headmaster of Dulwich College, who is planning to start a new Foreign School
in Seoul from this year. He will be accompanied by Michael Breen, a journalist,
who was with The Guardian and Washington Times. He is an expert on Korea and has
a weekly column in the Korea Herald.
Our meeting will start at 10.30 a.m. in the basement of the Indian Embassy at Hannam dong.
This will be the followed by the presentation .

We are going hiking!Yes , this months meeting will be at Namsan mountain.
